From debut to “I do,” we’ve had the honor of capturing Ella’s most unforgettable milestones. After photographing and creating the SDE Video of her 18th birthday in 2023, we were thrilled to witness and document her wedding to DJ — a love story that started in Canada and led to a beautifully intimate, DIY celebration in Cebu.

A Family Tradition of Meaningful Celebrations

Ella is the daughter of our former clients Anni and Zamil — yes, the same couple who got married four times: in Canada, Hong Kong, and twice in Cebu, including a yacht wedding beneath the CCLEX, before it was completed, at the tail end of the pandemic!

Following in her parents’ footsteps, Ella made sure her wedding reflected both personality and intention. With just two weeks of planning, she, DJ, and Anni carefully handpicked each supplier — skipping the typical all-in-one packages for a more personalized approach.

DJ & Ella’s Pre-Wedding Shoot at Papa Kit’s Marina – A Love Anchored in Nature

Set amidst the lush greenery and serene waters of Papa Kit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon in Liloan, Cebu, DJ and Ella’s pre-wedding shoot felt like a quiet love letter to nature — and to each other. Dressed in breezy whites and soft pastels, the couple looked completely at home in each other’s arms, whether walking on the dock or sharing a quiet moment beneath the trees.

Ella’s glowing, effortless look — thanks to the expert touch of GoyGoy Barriga of Kerofied — perfectly complemented the natural, laid-back setting. Her soft waves, subtle glam, and radiant smile brought a graceful energy to every frame.

From wooden walkways over the water to sun-dappled forest paths, every corner of Papa Kit’s offered a new way to tell their story. Their chemistry was as calm and constant as the tide — captured best in the candid moments: a glance, a laugh, a shared breath.

This session wasn’t just about capturing beautiful photos; it was about reflecting who DJ and Ella are together — joyful, grounded, and beautifully in sync.

Getting Ready at Belmont Hotel Mactan

The day began at the cozy yet elegant Belmont Hotel Mactan, a favorite among couples planning destination weddings in Cebu. Ella’s bridal glow was styled by Kerofied by Kero Fuentes, and her stunning gowns — all from SHEIN — proved that style doesn’t always have to come with a hefty price tag.

Beachfront Ceremony at Mactan Newtown Beach

Surrounded by the sound of waves and the warmth of close friends and family, DJ and Ella exchanged vows at the scenic Mactan Newtown Beach — a perfect venue for a heartfelt and intimate beach ceremony.

Tropical-Inspired Reception at the Glass Pavilion

After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to a relaxed, tropical-themed reception at the Glass Pavilion, beautifully styled by Kate’s Crafts, Designs and Events. Every detail added to the laid-back yet elegant vibe of the evening.

The celebration was masterfully hosted by Danny Restauro, whose energy, humor, and heartfelt delivery brought the entire event together. From warm introductions to lively games and sweet tributes, Danny’s presence made the reception truly unforgettable.
