Jimmy and Maureen’s Cebu Wedding: A Photographic Journey

Fifteen years after saying “I do” in a civil ceremony, Jimmy and Maureen finally celebrated their sacramental union at the breathtaking Cebu Archdiocesan Shrine of Saint Pedro Calungsod. Their love story, which began in Manila and flourished through years working in Singapore before settling in Cebu, reached new heights as they exchanged vows before God.

The couple’s children played starring roles in the ceremony – 15-year-old JM serving as best man and 12-year-old MJ as maid of honor, making this truly a family celebration. Portraits by Bukool captured every tender moment, from Maureen’s radiant smile as she walked down the aisle in her elegant gown from Miss J Boutique, to the family’s joyful embrace after the ceremony.

The shrine was transformed into a floral paradise by L&K Events and Style by Lougina Tapil, while Christine Anne Santillan ensured the bride glowed with timeless beauty. The celebration continued with Danny R. Restauro expertly hosting the reception, where guests enjoyed the sweet masterpiece from Jillianie’s Cake Gallery and danced the night away to music by Rey Mart Mahan.

Every moment was preserved in cinematic detail by Ione Velasquez Films, ensuring this long-awaited blessing would be remembered for generations. More than just a wedding, this was the celebration of a love that had already stood the test of time, now made complete in faith.
